Çağlar Helvacıoğlu fulfilled his state service obligation at the Siirt 112 Emergency Medical Services after graduating from the Medical Faculty of the Akdeniz University in 2012. He chose the specialty of Gynecology and Obstetrics and completed his residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital in Bakırköy of Health Sciences University. He worked at the Süleymaniye Women's and Children's Diseases Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul Training and Research Hospital, and Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital. In 2022, he received the title of Associate Professor. He is married and has 2 children. He speaks English and Arabic.

- In 2015, he was an observer at the University of Cape Town Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction Clinic.
- In the first half of 2020, he worked as a volunteer doctor in Niamey, Niger.
