These incisions, called episiotomies, not only facilitate the baby&#039;s passage through the vagina but also prevent tears towards the anus and protect surrounding tissues. However, after childbirth, the episiotomy site may heal poorly or not repair properly, leading to significant scarring (scar tissue) that can be distressing for the mother. The resulting scar can cause a woman to lose self-confidence, experience sexual aversion due to her appearance, feel ashamed of her partner, and avoid intimacy.<\/p>\n<h4>Factors that cause birth scars to be more prominent.<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Difficult births<\/li>\n<li>Postpartum suture infection<\/li>\n<li>Failure of birth stitches to hold, failure of the incision site to heal.<\/li>\n<li>Unrepaired perineal tears<\/li>\n<li>Deep perineal tears<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How to Remove Birth Scars?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Perineal Aesthetics:<\/strong> Birth scars can be corrected with a type of surgery called perineal aesthetics (perineoplasty). Perineal aesthetics involves the aesthetic repair of incisions located in the perineum, the area of the body between the outer labia and the anus. This operation also helps to significantly improve the functional condition of the perineal area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vaginal Tightening:<\/strong> Widening, loosening, or sagging of the vaginal canal that occurs during normal childbirth is known as vaginal relaxation syndrome. This syndrome can cause decreased libido and sexual dissatisfaction in both women and men. Vaginal relaxation syndrome, which develops after childbirth along with the vaginal incision, can be eliminated through vaginal tightening surgery, allowing the vagina to return to its pre-birth size and erasing the birth scars. However, a subsequent birth after vaginal tightening surgery may cause the vagina to widen again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perineoplasty:\u00a0<\/strong>Perineoplasty, also known as genital aesthetics, is a surgical procedure that combines perineal correction, labiaplasty (inner labia aesthetics), clitoral hoodoplasty, vaginal tightening, and perineal aesthetic surgery.
