The hymen, which is seen as a symbol of virginity in many parts of the world, is one of the sensitive issues for most women. People who have problems with the rupture of the hymen, that is, the loss of virginity, can have their hymen sewn with a permanent hymen sewing operation.
How is the Hymen Broken?
The hymen is a thin fold of skin 1 to 2 centimeters inside the vagina. Sexual intercourse, taking a finger or foreign body into the vagina during masturbation, a foreign body entering the vagina from the outside, impacts such as falling, bumps can cause the hymen to deteriorate – tear. Disruption of the hymen, which means disruption of the anatomical integrity, means a tear in the hymen that goes down to the base. Some women may not feel that their hymen is broken, as a hymen break does not cause pain or soreness. More or less hymen bleeding varies depending on the type of hymen, the severity of the relationship and the stress factor on the woman.
Hymen Suture
Only a gynecological examination can tell if the hymen is broken. Hymen examination, also known as hymen (hymen) examination, virginity test, virginity inspection, virginity test, virginity examination, etc., does not use any device or instrument, the examination is based entirely on the observation of the hymen.
Hymenoplasty, also known as hymenoplasty or hymenorrhaphy, refers to the long-term suturing and repair of the hymen. The sewn hymen can last until a new sexual intercourse. Hymenal suturing is performed with two different methods: Hymenal suturing with the flap method and hymenal repair with the microsurgical method. The flap method is referred to as the tissue shift method. In this method, it is not the hymen that is sutured, but the walls of the vagina behind the hymen. The aim of the flap method is to mimic the bleeding during the first sexual intercourse, during the penetration of the penis into the vagina, bleeding occurs. In the microsurgical method, after the hymen is torn, both torn ends are cut and re-sutured with microsurgery. With this method, the anatomical integrity of the hymen is restored.
